Sinner, come, drink of this fountain
God has opened up for sin!
You need only to be willing!
You may freely enter in!
Sinner come, and do not tarry!
He is calling out your name!
Come exchange your guilt for pardon;
Sanctity instead of shame!
Won’t you come? The Savior calls you!
It is not the Father’s will
That you fall away and perish,
So He reaches for you still!
Whosoever will may take this,
Say the Spirit and the Bride!
Come drink into that one Spirit
That flows out from Jesus’ side!
Sinner, know, if you are willing,
That the Lord has willed it first!
He who made this living fountain,
Also made your desperate thirst!
Come and drink, and do not perish!
He who drinks
this water lives,
For this is the living water
That the Savior freely gives!
Come ye, weak, weary, and wounded!
You may freely enter in
To the sacred, cleansing fountain
God has opened up for sin!
